Air War College student Col. Jonathan Varoli spends time talking with 7th and 8th grade students at the Brewbaker Middle School Outreach Day at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, April 18, 2023. The day was organized by the Montgomery Public Schools, the Air University Innovation Office and the Air University Innovation Research Task Force. Along with an opportunity to interact with military members, perhaps for the first time for some of the 13 students, the day included team- and leadership-building exercises, discussions about Air Force ‘heroes’ and on conflict resolution and respecting differing viewpoints.
