Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall (center) presented a Secretary of the Air Force 2022 Leadership Award to each of several Air University staff, faculty and former students during a ceremony May 9, 2023, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. The award is given to those who exhibited exemplary leadership, character and ethical behavior and is the most prestigious award given by Air University on behalf of the secretary of the Air Force.
