Air Force ROTC Detachment Commander Lt. Col. Daniel O’Brien delivers remarks at the dedication ceremony for the new ‘Trojan Bar,’ Nov. 17, 2023, at Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. The detachment dedicated a heritage room in honor of Maj. Troy ‘Trojan’ Gilbert, a Texas Tech alum and F-16 pilot who lost his life while executing a low-level strafing pass during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2006.
