Honoring a Hero

U.S. service members with the 282d Army Band support the State Funeral of former President Jimmy Carter at the Carter Center in Atlanta, Jan. 4, 2025. Carter, who was also a 2002 Nobel Peace Prize recipient for his humanitarian efforts, passed away Dec. 29, 2024, at his home in Plains, Ga., at the age of 100.
