U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Deshawn White, 52nd Logistics Readiness Squadron material management, scans individual plates into a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, Feb. 7, 2025. By installing RFID technology, LRS will eliminate 7,000 man-hours annually in inventory procedures, expedite mass distribution in the event of a chemical attack and increase deployment processing capability.
